Dawson players explore the dark side
A London group home for psychiatric patients is the setting for Dawson College's professional theatre program's latest production, Sarah Daniels's 'Beside Herself.'

Directed by Barbara Kelly, the dark psychological drama tackles the subject of sexual abuse in a compelling and entertaining manner. In this study of three women living with the aftermath of childhood abuse, the unravelling plot reveals their secrets as they become entangled in the drama of the group home.

'Beside Herself' opens Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. in Dawson's new theatre at 2000 Atwater Ave., and runs through Feb. 6. For ticket prices and show times, contact the box office at 514-931-5000 weekdays between 6 and 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
