Helping kids and their parents adopt healthy habits!
Helping kids and their parents adopt healthy habits!
On May 30 and 31, the YMCAs of Québec invite families to take part in the YMCA Healthy Kids Days free-of-charge. For this occasion, some centres will welcome visitors on Saturday, and others on Sunday. There will be a wide range of original and entertaining activities. This unique initiative is aimed first and foremost at helping kids and their parents adopt healthy lifestyle habits while having fun.

The YMCAs of Québec’s centres on the Island of Montreal will be offering a varied program of activities. From hip-hop for kids and mother-daughter aerobics, to discovering the joys of the circus and slides for the little ones, there’s something for everyone! Face-painting workshops, team sports activities, martial arts and a free swim will also be on the program. And because health is synonymous with eating right, nutritional advice will be offered and healthy snacks will be served at some centres. There will also be door prizes to be won!

So make it a date for your family and come celebrate the vitality of our children, on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31.

Since there is a wide array of activities, consult the programming for each centre at www.ymcaquebec.org or contact your local Y centre.
