Le Nichoir is going 'to the birds'
Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction tickets on sale
Le Nichoir is inviting the public to come and celebrate its 15th anniversary at the Annual
Benefit Dinner and Auction “For the Birds” which will be held on Friday April 24th, at the Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire with Honorary Chairman Jack Rothenberg from The Rothenberg Group. Le Nichoir’s volunteers are going all out to make sure it will be a memorable night!
In 2008, Le Nichoir admitted over 1,100 injured, orphaned or sick wild birds, and responded to over 5,000 telephone calls and 1,000 E-mails from all over Quebec. Each year, Le Nichoir holds this fundraiser in hopes of raising enough funds to continue to care, save and return so many birds back into the wild. Funds raised are used to pay for student staff, education, food, medication and equipment for bird care. Le Nichoir’s auction items can be seen by clicking on the Auction 2009 hyperlink on our website at
www.lenichoir.org, some items include: a bird watching trip for two at Pointe Pelée, dinner at the Atwater Club with brew master Peter McAuslan and flying in a Cesna 152 to name a few.
