Risk of falling icicles closes Roslyn schoolyard
Roslyn School was at the centre of attention earlier this week, but this time it wasn't for its centennial celebrations or the accomplishments of one of its students.

It was all over a natural phenomena that posed a danger to students and staff — huge icicles hanging from edge of the pitched roof. Upon learning that it would be some time before the icicles could be safely removed by over-booked maintenance crews, school officials closed the schoolyard to students until further notice. On Wednesday, it was still unknown when the icicles would be removed.
