CHSLD St. Margaret, a long-term care nursing home, is currently recruiting volunteers to accompany a resident to 'stroke club' every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and/or to the 'action centre' every Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transportation and brown bag lunch are provided. Volunteers are also being recruited (Friday, twice per month) to assist Occupational Therapist with organizing equipment and ensuring all residents have proper footrests. The YWCA Montreal is looking for artistic and creative women (60+) interested in becoming involved in a new intergenerational project starting soon!
