OTTAWA - The opposition is demanding Prime Minister Stephen Harper table details of his new defence strategy.
Liberal MP Ralph Goodale says no one knows what the government is going to do with its 20-year, $50-billion strategy.
Goodale says the government has only delivered a speech on the strategy and, if there is a detailed plan, it should be tabled in the Commons.
But Harper says his plan is clear - the government will boost military and reserve personnel and buy new airplanes and vehicles for the Canadian Forces.
Harper says the military suffered with a lack of proper equipment under 13 years of Liberal rule.
