BELLE RIVER, Ont. - Provincial police are searching for suspects after a dead cat was found hanging from the door handle of a business near Windsor, Ont.
Police say someone wrapped electrical wire around the cat's neck and then hung it on the door of a coffee shop in Belle River.
A woman walking her dog early Sunday made the gruesome discovery.
Const. Janet Hayes says police aren't sure if the coffee shop was targeted.
Hayes says a number of investigators are "trying to figure out who committed this awful offence." (CHYR, CFCO)
