MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - RCMP have arrested a 32-year-old man from Calgary in relation to a series of bank robberies in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Sgt. Carole Raymond says the suspect used to live in Manitoba, and was identified through investigation by several detachments in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, as well as a number of city police forces.
He was arrested by Medicine Hat Police, and was remanded into custody.
Raymond says the man's name won't be released until he is formally charged.
The robberies occurred in MacNutt and Herbert, Sask. as well as Trochu, Alta. last fall.
