TORONTO - Police say the death of a 41-year-old man aboard a Toronto-bound Aeroflot Russian Airlines flight on Wednesday is not suspicious.
Peel Regional Police say an autopsy has found there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. They are waiting for toxicology results to determine the exact cause of death.
The Russian man collapsed about an hour before the plane from Moscow was to land at Pearson International Airport.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the man was pronounced dead after the plane landed.
The man, who was travelling alone and whose name has not been released, was reportedly drinking heavily, being unruly and annoying some of the other 180 passengers.
