BRADFORD, Ont. - Police in York Region north of Toronto are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a 24-year-old man was struck and killed.
Daniel Orantes was walking east on Highway 11 near Bradford just before 10:30 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Orantes was then struck again by a second vehicle, which left the scene.
Police are seeking that vehicle and urging the driver to contact them.
Orantes died of his injuries in hospital.
