REPULSE BAY, Nunavut - Poor weather is hampering the search for a family of seven that has been missing in Nunavut since Saturday.
Rescue officials at CFB Trenton in eastern Ontario say the family left Repulse Bay on the northern fringes of Hudson's Bay on Thursday.
The family, which was using one snowmobile, didn't arrive as expected at nearby Hall Beach two days later.
The Trenton base, which wasn't told of the missing family until Monday, has dispatched a Hercules aircraft from CFB Winnipeg to conduct the search.
