Finding a solution for soccer players

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Victoria Hall, 4626 Sherbrooke St. W.

“This public consultation meeting is an excellent opportunity for all residents to voice their opinions and help us find a solution for our young soccer players,” said Mayor Karin Marks.

“This project affects all residents, and feedback from every part of the Westmount community is vital for City Council, as it will help guide us in making our ultimate decision on the future of this project.”

A panel of environmental consultants, landscape architects and playing field specialists will be on hand during this public consultation meeting to answer questions and provide background information regarding this project. Residents and community groups may make formal presentations during the meeting.

The complete details on the registration process will be announced by Marks during the Council meeting on April 23, and made available on the City’s official Web site at www.westmount.org the following day.

As of April 24, residents who are unable to attend the public consultation meeting are invited to submit their comments to City Council using a dedicated feedback form found in the new “Westmount Park Playing Fields Project” section of the City's website. Residents can also send their comment by mail to the following address:
