A helping hand from St. George's School
On Friday, Feb. 16, Grade 5 and 6 students at St. George’s School created practical and fun items using old and unwanted materials through a special all-day fund-raising workshop.
These funky and cool creations will be presented for sale to raise funds and awareness for the Highland Hope Project in Tanzania and the Arras Educational Center School in the Dominican Republic as part of their forward-thinking and global Community Service Program. Teachers and volunteer parents were on hand to inspire and support the young student designers in their worthy and creative venture.
