Westmounter Daniel Biron calls his 9-year-old son 'Tiger William', and for good reason — the young golfer recently shot a hole-in-one!

The big event took place on the morning of Oct. 5 at the Shawbridge Golf Club, where father and son were playing a particularly difficult hole.

"William used his Callaway fairway wood to reach the green," a proud Daniel recalls. "The ball bounced twice, then fell right into the hole. We could not believe our eyes. I was so happy for William that I took him in my arms and went 360 degrees a few times, congratulating him for what he had just accomplished.

"William has been playing golf since he was three-and-a-half, and he loves it," Daniel said of his son, who has already participated in several tournaments around Quebec.
