Blondin to speak at WMA meeting
Issues of public safety and Westmount's own municipal force will be the focus of discussion next Tuesday when the Westmount Municipal Association holds its monthly meeting.
The WMA has invited guest speaker Richard Blondin, director of Westmount's Public Security unit, to discuss 'The Role of Public Security'. Details of jurisdiction, various responsibilities and the relationship between public security and police are sure to be covered. Blondin will also answer questions from the audience following his presentation.
The meeting is open to the public, and all Westmount residents are welcome.
It all begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the Westmount Room of the Westmount Public Library, 4574 Sherbrooke St. W. For more information, call 514-846-8464.
