Galganov, Tyler to participate in rights rally
Affiliation Quebec event set for March 2
Westmounter Allen Nutik's fledgling provincial political party Affiliation Quebec (AQ) is poised for its next major event — a free public "Rally for Rights" next weekend that will feature two veteran Anglo rights activists — Howard Galganov and human rights lawyer Brent Tyler.
The two have been confirmed as guest speakers at the Affiliation Quebec rally to be held at Hotel Ruby Foos on Decarie Boulevard next Sunday, March 2.
According to AQ leader Nutik, this will be the first of a planned series of open 'rights' meetings to be presented by AQ, now an official Quebec political party that was formed to represent the full rights and interests of "loyal Canadians living in Quebec."
Following the speeches, there will be an open question and answer period. After that, party members plan to get together in the adjoining coffee shop to form riding associations.
"The recent upgraded activism of Quebec nationalists and separatists along with the unmistakable failure of the Charest Liberals to represent and speak for Quebec's minorities, Allophones and Anglophones requires a clear response and alternative for disenfranchised voters, especially in the greater Montreal region," Nutik said this week. "That alternative is Affiliation Quebec, and the valid reason for which we created the party."
The AQ 'Rally for Rights' takes place on Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at Hotel Ruby Foos, 7655 Decarie Boul., at Paré.
