Marianopolis holds Groundhog Day Pizza Extravaganza reunion
Dozens of goodies are up for grabs as the Marianopolis College Alumni Association hosts its annual silent auction and reunion from 6 to 9 pm on Thursday, January 31 at the Marianopolis campus, 4873 Westmount Ave., in room F-105.
The Groundhog Day Pizza Extravaganza is the Alumni Association’s only fundraiser this year and the only on-campus reunion for all classes.
A highlight for graduates is the opportunity to mingle with former professors and mentors. A refillable Centennial souvenir mug may be purchased at the door for $2. Proceeds will help support the association networking efforts, as well as continue its strong support of campus initiatives. Donations are welcome.
The silent auction will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and feature dozens of generously donated items, including Vision 2000 Travel airline tickets, a Via Rail trip for two to Niagara Falls, a luxury weekend getaway at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe, grandstand seats to this summer’s Formula One Grand Prix, tuition to McGill’s Mini-Med lecture series, tickets to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and productions by Centaur, Geordie Productions, Infinitheatre and the Leanor and Alvin Segal Theatre, plus electronics and household appliances.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to alumni@marianopolis.edu.
