Station 12 cops raise $1,876 for disabled children

When Station 12 officers and Calories teamed up for their third annual coffee-serving fundraising event on Dec. 13, they hoped to top last year's success — and they did. Despite freezing, snowy weather conditions, the Ste. Catherine Street restaurant was a busy place that day and a total of $1,876 was raised — up from last year's total of $1,687 — all of which went directly to the Quebec Society for Disabled Children. From left are coffee servers Commander Natalia Shuster, Const. Caroline Gauthier, Calories owner Raffaele De Marco, and Const. Adalbert Pimentel. "Although there was a lot of snow out there, we still hit our target," said a grateful Pimentel.
