The Westmount Historical Assocation's fall lecture series continues with Caroline Breslaw, WHA board member and researcher, who will look at the life of Hon. John Young (1811-1878), a Harbour Commissioner of the Port of Montreal for 25 years, and owner of ‘Rosemount’, a large estate north of Sherbrooke Street which had previously been owned by William McGillivray and Asa Goodenough. 7 to 9 p.m. in the Westmount Room of the Westmount Public Library, 4574 Sherbrooke St. W.
