The Westmount Historical Assocation's fall lecture series continues with Caroline Breslaw, WHA board member and researcher, who will look at the life of Hon. John Young (1811-1878), a Harbour Commissioner of the Port of Montreal for 25 years, and owner of ‘Rosemount’, a large estate north of Sherbrooke Street which had previously been owned by William McGillivray and Asa Goodenough. 7 to 9 p.m. in the Westmount Room of the Westmount Public Library, 4574 Sherbrooke St. W. The City of Westmount's 'A Heritage to Build On' lecture series continues with 'Adding on to Your House', featuring guest speaker Anna Mainella, architect.
