Courses at Pointe Claire CPR
Pointe-Claire CPR, a non-profit organization, offers the following courses.
Early Child Care and First Aid - CPR: obstructed airway manoeuvre for choking emergencies, defibrillator demonstration and First Aid for newborns, children and adults. Required for daycare workers; recommended for parents; focus on prevention (9 hours over 3 evenings): October 16, 18 and 23, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
HeartSaver/AED - CPR: obstructed airway manoeuvre for choking emergencies and defibrillator certification for victims 1 year of age to adult (4 hours): October 1, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Heart and Stroke Foundation - Emergency First Aid: The course includes CPR, choking and defibrillation for adults, children and infants (level C) as well as first aid knowledge including: bleeding, burns, heart attack, stroke, bone and joint injuries and much more (8 hours):
November 13 and 15, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
