Off-island population growth behind request
The Lester B. Pearson School Board has officially requested a new school be built for the off-island.
The council of commissioners unanimously adopted a resolution on June 26 asking the Ministry of Education’s approval and funding to construct a new elementary school in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area.

An off-island population boom indicates there will be a significant increase of students in the Lester B. Pearson School Board elementary sector.
