The National Bank of Canada is collecting used tennis balls.
Until July 13 you will have the chance to donate your used tennis balls to any one of its local branches. Boxes will be available on site for that purpose.
The collected balls will be distributed across Quebec School Boards with the idea of having them fastened to the legs of chairs used in classrooms.
This initiative will serve to reduce classroom noise, thereby creating a healthier learning environment in which children can concentrate better.
For each ball you donate you will receive a coupon that will enable you to enter a contest in which you could win various prizes, including one of four package deals, which comprises of tickets to the semi-final and final matches of the Rogers Cup, a stay for two at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, and a diner at the Club Platine in Uniprix Stadium.
