Is the City promoting pollution?

To the editor:

Given that hockey players rarely use bikes and buses to transport their expensive and bulky equipment. Given that the City of Westmount will be heavily investing to greatly increase the impact of hockey here and to promote the sport regionally.

Is it not logical for the City of Westmount to publicly admit that it is encouraging the inevitable increase of SUVs and other polluting vehicles in the vicinity of Westmount Park?
