Regarding your recent commentary column headed 'PR firm fumbled media event,' I

question the necessity of the City of Westmount engaging a public relations firm to handle publicity for an announcement by Mayor Marks.

All that was needed was an advance press release from City Hall to the various media.

With all the complaints, and the wish for expenditure cutting, the practice of engaging PR firms should be discontinued by Westmount.

Ikemas’s comment on kids who dream of making the NHL, reminds me of Westmount 50 years ago – “I don’t want to support a facility that’s designed to produce hockey players for the NHL.” -Meet the Candidates 19/10/09 Adam Cutler Westmount Ave.
