Anyone passing along Bellevue Avenue will have noticed that work has been progressing on the large house at no. 27. The house was recently at the centre of a highly publicized legal controversy when neighbours on Sunnyside Avenue took the owner to court because the extension at the top of the building, seen here, would block their view of the city below. The court ruled in favour of the property owner, as the project was passed by the City of Westmount's Planning Advisory Committee.
