We have just come to the end of the first Marianopolis Science Camp for children 11-15 years old. We hosted 50 campers per week for each of three weeks.
The camp was an unmitigated success, based on the feedback of the campers and their parents. We hope now to expand the camp next year by running it for four weeks, increasing the number of campers to 60 per week and running a parallel junior science camp for campers aged 8-11.
I would like to express my gratitude to the staff and administration at Marianopolis College, Westmount and the entire community for supporting this camp and making it such a success. We deeply care about the future of our children and if we have been able to awaken the spirit of inquiry in our campers this year, leading perhaps to a future in the sciences for some of them, then we will have achieved our mission.
May the wind blow strong in our sails for a better future for our children. Until next year!
