Support for the underdog

I am disgusted with owners of puppy mills that have a total lack of concern for the quality of animal life. Their only concern is to breed and profit from the sale of as many puppies as possible, albeit until the mother dies in squalor.

This behaviour by owners is profoundly cruel, abusive and sheer torture for the animals. It is unbelievable that not one government official has stood up for animal rights and welfare and legislated against the abusive treatment of the innocent. They would have my vote if they did.

At least stiffen the laws allowing the puppy mills to exist. Fine and imprison all abusive owners that have had a hand in torturing and dogs and their puppies.

I am not interested in voting for any official unless he or she sees it as a priority to outlaw the puppy mills. The government should at least support the SPCA.
