Last November, Mumbai, India was the scene of more than10 terrorist shootings and bombing attacks that killed at least 173 people and wounded at least 308. Montreal actor Michael Rudder is one of the survivors who was wounded in the ordeal. He will share his personal story of how he survived next Thursday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, 450 Kensington Ave.

Sponsored by the congregation’s Men’s Association, Rudder will recount how he was caught in the crossfire. After several weeks in a Mumbai hospital he was able to return home, where has undergone multiple surgeries and had to learn to deal with the aftermath of such an event.

The lecture is free of charge and open to the public. For more information, call Arlene Scher, events coordinator at 514-937-9471.
